Vision Statement Managing Academic Progress (MAP) is an organized methodology designed to increase student achievement in the Florida Public School System. Educators, parents and students are empowered by the information necessary and the process to maximize student potential. Through this process a school receives the tools to maximize academic potential and improve its grade under the Florida A+ Accountability System and meet Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). |

Goal The goal of the MAP program is to increase student achievement as measured by the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). |

Method The MAP program takes a holistic approach to the instructional process at a school and provides a year long program of administrative and instructional actions to be performed by administrators, instructors, students and parents. The MAP program consists of 4 separate elements that are interrelated to provide an overall approach to the instructional process:
